Vintage plastic boy money box. 1960s retro kids money box. Iwai Industrial, Iwai Emotion Doll, Moodie Cutie angry doll.
Absolutely adorable! Hard plastic, angry boy money box. There are no markings anywhere on this little man, research indiacates he was made in the 60s or early 70s and more than likely in Hong Kong, Japan or Korea.
Most of these dolls are smaller and made from a soft rubber. This guy is a very hard plastic, its very reminiscent of items I have from Hong Kong in the 50s and 60s.
Wonderful angry face and floppy blond hair. He still has the original money box plug in the base.
The paint work indicates that he has been hand painted.
He is 18cm tall and 10cm across the base.
Measurements are approximate and me be out by a few mm.
In very good condition. Hair is a little bit scrappy but all there and not falling out. One very small scratch on his left cheek.
