It is a large size ad, just a little smaller than A3. The ad features a stunning selection of lighting illustrations. This ad was run in The Australian Women’s Weekly’s special coverage edition of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth.

What a wonderful snapshot of the 1950s.

This 1953 advertisement measures approximately 37cm by 28cm.

It is in good vintage condition with minimal age-related yellowing mostly around the edges. The edges may show the smallest amount of wear and tear but there is room for the edges to be either trimmed or placed under a mat when framing. At some point in the last 70 years the magazine has been stored folded in half so there is some very faint fold marks and some puckering of the paper around the edge of where it was folded this will flatten out once framed. All in all it is in very good condition for a paper magazine ad that is 70 years old.
