Stylish vintage food thermos. Classic ice blue metal exterior with a glass over silver painted interior. This beauty is a Golden Triangle brand thermos Made in China circa 1970s (possibly late 1960s). It is a wonderful piece of nostalgia, I am so tempted to keep this to use as an ice bucket but I don’t have a bar or bar cart. My loss, your gain.
Perfect for bbq’ing, picnics, taking lunch to work or the retro collector or home decor.
The flask is in good and very clean condition. A few very light scuff marks and chips to the paint on the exterior (I feel these add to the charm). There are a some scratches to the exterior blue paint that may have been an attempt to name the thermos. The silver handle and edging - aluminium is in very good condition. Inside is nice and clean not chips or cracks to the glass. There are two spots where the silver paint is rubbed off but that is under the glass. The lid is aluminium and lined with a plastic seal - again in good condition with some age scuffs and a couple of tiny dents.
The flask with the lid on is 17.5cm tall x 14cm across the base.
